their uniforms – patriotic and militaristic aims – also support how transfixing the choreography is!

i have to wonder if that's not ALSO a patriotic and militaristic aim?

like: is the dancing a by-product? they just happened to be there, with time on their hands, and wanted to do team-building exercises?

or was it central to some other aim? like, it makes me watch and like the soldiers, it makes the guns seem less scary and almost convenient little props.

recontextualizing war gear through dance. 

This choreography also makes me understand waves in a more satisfying way than I ever have before.
